Sunscreen Mistakes That Hurt Your Skin
.Being stingy with sunscreen. If you spend a day at the beach you should use more than ½ an eight-ounce bottle!
.Rubbing sunscreen on vigorously. You should rub application on gently. Rubbing it in too hard reduces effectiveness by almost 25%.
.Waiting to hit the beach before applying sunscreen. You need to apply it at least 20 minutes before hitting the sun.
.Forgetting your lips. This is a common spot for skin cancer. Apply SPF 30 lip balm alone or under your lipstick and lip gloss.
