Move It 4 was developed to empower you with quality information to help you make positive and recognizable improvements to your mental, attitudinal and physical performance. We want to help you gain the knowledge you need to make smart, healthy choices to reach your full potential.
Your may not think much about this, but your body is never still. It is always in motion, even when you try to be very still, your body is a perpetual motion machine both on the inside and outside. Even while at rest your heart is beating at around 72 beats per minute and that by the end of the day, your 10 ounce heart will have pumped over 100,000 times.
During that same 24 hour period of time, you will have taken over 17,000 breaths as the direct result of another absolutely amazing muscle called the diaphragm. The combined breathing in of oxygen via the lungs and the pumping of blood by the heart through about 60,000 miles of blood vessels will help nourish the 50-100 trillion living cells in your body (100,000,000,000,000), by providing the oxygen-rich blood and nutrients they so vitally require.
The key for you is to start to understand why it is so important to eat well, hydrate properly,
regular exercise and plenty of quality sleep to build a strong mind and body to help you reach and retain your full potential through your teenage years, on into your twenties and beyond. What you learn now and commit to incorporate into your daily and weekly routine will either help propel you to greatness, or be the weak links in achieving your dreams.
There isn’t any trade-in option allowed when it comes to our bodies. We all start with what we were given at birth, but what you do with it after that, is mostly up to you !
